What is Eco-Therapy
EcoTherapy is a relatively new therapeutic intervention that integrates talking therapy while doing an activity outside in nature.
Very simply, traditional pschotherapeutic theory suggests that human suffering comes from a broken relationship with self or others, where EcoTherapeutic theory suggests that suffering comes from a disconnection with the natural world.

Being in nature offers a sense of grounding and connectedness that is difficult gain so easily anywhere else. During the session we simply walk, talk, and take in the peace and calmness offered from the nature around us.
Many people find it much easier to talk about their thoughts and feelings while walking. Clients have reported feeling less pressure during these sessions and a sense of freedom that they were unable to find anywhere else.
