Saying goodbye

Saying goodbye to someone or something that we love is one of the most difficult things we do in life.  When we hear the word bereavement it is often associated with the death of a person but often forget that actually it is the feeling of saying goodbye to anything that we hold dear, including pets! Our animals are such an important part of our lives and families, we love them, confide in them and they are a huge part of every important moment in our lives.

It can be absolutely heartbreaking when we have to say goodbye to our beloved animals and I think the impact of this goodbye is significant and worthy real reflection and attention.
